Alfords House is an old colonial house built in 1934 by David Jones and purchased by Alford Khoromana in the late 1960s the house has undergone a complete refurbishment in 2024 by the Khoromana family and is a self contained bungalow with 4 en-suite rooms.
Alfords House is located in the Luchenza township a town known for its rich history as a trading post due to its railway line that in years past was the focal point for traders bringing goods from Mozambique and trading with merchants from Limbe.
Luchenza is strategically located between 2 of Malawis most idealic tourist attractions. The Thyolo tea estates are 15km from Luchenza town ship and mount Mulanje is a mere 20km drive from the bungalow.
